Whilst wearing dark denim jeans the dye transferred onto a brand new large shoulder bag made of linen/cotton mix - any ideas how to get this off?
A Do not use clorox bleach. There is a dye remover available at your local JoAnn Fabrics, Michael's or A.C.Moore craft store. This product (either brand: Dylon, Ritz, Tintex) is formulated to remove dye from fabric and it works wonders. Follow the package directions and you will be good to go. Also, linen/cotton bags get soiled rather quickly; may I suggest using a stain repellent spray? I use Scotch Guard spray to keep my cloth bags and canvas sneakers looking fresher longer. Try it, I promise you will love the results.
